2. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all sales concluded through the website www.diamstar.co between DIAMSTAR and any adult consumer within the meaning of the applicable consumer protection laws.

Placing an order constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

3. Products

DIAMSTAR offers natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, melee diamonds, as well as diamond jewelry, including engagement rings, tennis bracelets, earrings and other custom-made creations.

Certified diamonds are sold loose and are accompanied by an authenticity certificate issued by an independent gemological laboratory (GIA, IGI, HRD or any other recognized laboratory, depending on the product reference).

Jewelry created through the DIAMSTAR configurators is manufactured exclusively to order according to the customization options selected by the customer. Depending on the type of jewelry, these options may include the diamond shape, jewelry style, setting type, metal, gold purity, carat weight, size, personalized engraving or any other option offered by the configurator.

The essential characteristics of each product (dimensions, weight, color, clarity, shape, metal, setting type, total carat weight, engraving where applicable, certificate number or any other relevant information) are specified on the corresponding product page.

Photographs, 3D renderings, videos and illustrations displayed on the website are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding. Slight variations in color, proportions or appearance may occur due to screen settings, materials, the natural characteristics of gemstones or manufacturing constraints.

4. Prices

Prices displayed on the website are expressed in Euros (€) or, where this feature is available, in the customer’s local currency according to the selected delivery country.

For orders delivered within France and the European Union, prices are shown inclusive of all applicable taxes (VAT included).

For orders shipped outside the European Union, prices are shown exclusive of taxes. French VAT does not apply. Customs duties, local taxes or customs clearance fees may be charged by the authorities of the destination country. Such charges remain the sole responsibility of the customer.

Diamond prices may change at any time depending on market conditions and product availability.

DIAMSTAR reserves the right to modify its prices without prior notice. The applicable price is the one displayed on the website at the time the order is finally confirmed.

5. Orders

The ordering process includes, in particular, the following steps:

  • Selection of one or more products (diamonds, jewelry or any other products available on the website);

  • Product customization, where available through a DIAMSTAR configurator;

  • Shopping cart validation;

  • Entry of billing and shipping information;

  • Secure payment;

  • Order confirmation by email.

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided when placing an order, including their identity, contact details and shipping address.

Any order constitutes full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

DIAMSTAR reserves the right to refuse, suspend or cancel any order that appears abnormal, fraudulent or suspicious, or in the event of a previous dispute with the customer.

6. Payment

Orders must be paid online at the time they are placed through a secure connection using HTTPS and SSL encryption protocols.

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) via Stripe or Shopify Payments;

  • Bank transfer, available upon request and subject to DIAMSTAR’s approval. Payment instructions will then be provided by email.

An order shall only be considered final once full payment has been received.

DIAMSTAR reserves the right to suspend or cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud, unauthorized use of a payment method or payment-related issues.

No shipment and no production of any custom-made jewelry created through a DIAMSTAR configurator will begin until payment has been fully validated.

7. Order Cancellation

Any order placed on www.diamstar.co shall be considered firm and final once payment has been confirmed.

However, DIAMSTAR may consider a cancellation request under the following conditions.

7.1 Before Shipment or Production Begins

Any cancellation request must be sent by email to:

info@diamstar.co

before the order has been shipped or, in the case of custom-made jewelry created through a DIAMSTAR configurator, before production has commenced.

DIAMSTAR reserves the right to accept or refuse any cancellation request depending on the progress of order preparation or manufacturing.

If the cancellation is accepted, the refund will be processed within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days.

7.2 After Shipment

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

Where applicable, customers may exercise their statutory right of withdrawal under the conditions set out in Article 9 of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

7.3 Non-Cancellable Products

The following products cannot be cancelled once the order has been confirmed:
